Parking felt odd at first, having to leave the car at the curb, but it turned out to be hassle-free in this area. The mattress in the Superior King Room was a bit soft for my taste, making it less supportive than I prefer. Among the amenities, the dining area could use some heating as it felt slightly cold during breakfast. Our experience at lunch was interrupted by a longer than expected wait due to a larger table being booked, which made planning our meals a bit tricky. It was disappointing to be told that friends couldn't join us for breakfast since non-residents weren't accommodated, even though there was hardly anyone else around. Some elements of the garden view could benefit from a tidier appearance, too. calling it a garden view isn't quite accurate when it looks a bit neglected.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored some stunning beaches and went cycling through beautiful trails nearby. The room was spotless with comfy beds, and the home-cooked meals were top-notch. The owners were super friendly and even helped us book dinner in advance. Definitely a great spot for a getaway.
The only downside was having to leave this beautiful place. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The garden view left a bit to be desired. it was hardly a garden and more of a tiny patch with sparse shrubbery. Not having blockout blinds was a nuisance during the long daylight hours, which disturbed our sleep. Arriving early, we were met with a chilly reception and missed out on having some tea beforehand. Finally, the lack of a bar meant that having a drink before dinner required a trip to the nearby shop.

Perfect getaway with stunning views!
The room was super comfy and had amazing views of the bay. Breakfast was scrumptious, especially the fresh salmon and creamy scrambled eggs! Just a bit too chilly eating outside, even if that's standard. Can't wait to come back!

I spent a night touring the west coast and enjoyed the food. I had the Cullen skink followed by fresh langoustines, which were both great. Breakfast had a solid selection too. The location was nice, right by the sea, which I appreciated as a traveler who loves nature.
